ARLINGTON - Clyde David Presley,75, went to his Lord Jesus May 17, 2021.
David was born August 23, 1945 to Sherman Presley and Pauline Baker in Sherman,
Texas. He was one of four children.
The family moved to Dallas in 1950 and then Farmers Branch, Texas in 1954. He
graduated R. L. Turner High School and then continued his studies at North Texas
State University. After leaving school, David spent a brief time in the food and
hospitality field. He married Vickie Henson in 1974 with whom he had two
daughters before divorcing in 1991. During this time, he entered the pest
control field. He eventually worked at Maddox Pest Control where he met his
future wife, Judith Evans, and then he joined her in their own company, A Pest
Pro, Inc. He was active for many years in the Texas Pest Control Association.
Preceded in death by his parents and wife, Judith; and a son, Clyde David Jr.,
and grand-daughter, Blythe Madison Harper.
Survived by two sisters, Donna Jean Salinas and Brenda Plemmons; and a younger
brother, Michael Glen Presley. Other loving family include daughters, Stephanie
Lawson and husband, Eric, and Michelle Norman- Barker and husband, Scott; step
children, Kenneth Hewlett, and wife, Liliana, Kimberly Hewlett Owen, and
husband, Vance, Belinda Hewlett Morris, and husband, Robert, and Leanne Hewlett
Houle, and husband, John; eighteen grandchildren and numerous great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
