"Bud" Ragsdale
March 4, 1935 - January 20, 2012JIM “BUD” RAGSDALE,
age 76, a resident of Irving for 45 years, died Friday,
January 20, 2012 at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. Born March
4, 1935 in Dallas, he was the son of Orville Acton and Lucille
Segroves Ragsdale. He married Sandra Carter May 1, 1964 in
Dallas. Owner of ASAP Concrete Coring for eleven years, he had
worked in sheet metal, and was a fishing guide. He was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife Sandy Ragsdale of Irving; a son Rowdy
Ragsdale of Irving; daughters Sabra Masters and husband Albert
of Plano and Tempy Arnold and husband Wes of Euless; ten
grandchildren, Tammy and husband James Cragg of Plano, Tony
Ragsdale of Irving, Cory and wife Meredith Ragsdale of Allen,
Jamey and wife Alyssa Ragsdale of Washington, Lindsey Entrekin
of Plano, Devin Arnold of Euless, Austin Ragsdale of Venus,
Delaney Arnold of Euless, Haley Ragsdale of Lewisville, and
Drake Arnold of Euless; great grandchildren Chloe Ragsdale,
Kenley Cragg, and Kayden Ragsdale; a brother Robert Ragsdale of
Garland; and a sister Carolyn Mathews of Cleburne. He was
preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ed Ragsdale. The
family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Donnelly’s
Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving. The
funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
Pastor Anthony Cheek will officiate. Memorials may be made to
the American Heart Association. |
