Juanita Rainwater
August 6, 1941 - May 29, 2024

Juanita Pullum Rainwater was promoted from laborer to reward Thursday, May 29, 2024. Juanita was born on August 6, 1941 in Savannah Chatham, Georgia to Oscar Pullum and Bertha Pullum.
Juanita put her faith in Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member at her church in Savannah Chatham, Georgia and served on the Usher Board and sang in the Choir. She is the founder of the Dr. Martin Luther King Parade, which God gave her a vision about 28 years ago, and she retired and joined her husband to help with Christ Community Connections, Inc.

On November 11, 1986, Juanita married Rev. Willie Rainwater and from this union they were blessed with a host of integrated children, whom they loved and cherished dearly. The Rainwater's were married for 38 years and have 6 children and 10 grandchildren.

Her Celebration of Life continues with her devoted daughters Jacy (Josh) and Joyce; step-daughters Stephanie, Tracy, Keisha, and Ronisha with a host of grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Remembering Juanita Rainwater
June 5, 2024
Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD mourns the loss of Juanita Pullum Rainwater. Mrs. Rainwater impacted the lives of CFBISD students and staff for many years. She was the founder of the annual Dr. Martin Luther King parade that the district participates in each year. After her retirement, Juanita joined her husband, Rev. Willie Rainwater to help with Christ Community Connections Inc, an organization that has supported multiple CFB students with scholarships. Mrs. Rainwater’s service to her community will never be forgotten.

Our deepest sympathy goes to the Rainwater family during this difficult time.
