OBITUARY

RAMIREZ
RALPH GAREY.  Passed away September 5, 2000 after a courageous battle. He was born December 20, 1920 in Mulberry, TX. A life long resident of Dallas. Ralph attended Carrollton High School. Ralph & Anita celebrated 54 years of marriage this past year. He proudly served his country during WWII as a US Marine where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a little league baseball coach for 19 years. He worked in the printing business all his life retiring in 1982. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Farmers Branch. Ralph will be remembered as a caring husband loving father, a devoted grandfather, great-grandfather, & a loyal friend to all who knew him. He will always be remembered for his beautiful smile and infectious laugh. He is survived by his wife, Anita; daughter, Elda McCabe & husband Willis of Possum Kingdom, Son, Ralph Jr. & wife Jean of Farmers Branch; Son, Jimmie & wife Carol  of San Antonio; Daughter, Olivia Falk & husband Drew of Denver, Co; Sister, Dominga Rodriguez Ramirez; 9 grand-children; 2 Great Grandchildren; Numerous special nieces, nephews, & loved ones. Prayer Service Thursday, September 7, 2000, 7:30PM at the Gonzalez Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service Friday, September 8, 2000 10:30AM Gonzalez Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Calvary Hill Cemetery.

  • ...my dad did not graduate. he was called to service, I think. I will have to confirm that. I know he left in his junior year...that he told me. My mother received an honorary graduation for him. She is 90 years old now. Daddy has been gone for almost 14 years now. .... Olivia
