RANGEL, Samantha Marie Samantha Marie Rangel, born and raised in Carrollton, Texas, age 13 won her 8 year battle against childhood cancer on Sunday October 2nd, 2016. Samantha was born December 30th 2002. In her short time on this earth she has inspired and touched the hearts of thousands with her faith, courage and bravery. She was truly an earth Angel and loved by many. She is preceded in death by her older brother, Ricardo Angel Rangel. Samantha is survived by her parents, Misty and Juan Rangel; brother, Juan; and sisters, Elizabeth and Marisa. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 5th from 4:00 to 8:30 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane , Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. Service will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, October 6th at 11:00 am in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane , Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. Interment will begin at 12:30 pm at Hilltop Memorial Park, 1810 N. Perry Road, Carrollton, Texas 75006. Donations towards the services for Samantha may be made at the North Dallas Funeral Home.
