Gracie Frances Reneau
Gracie Frances Reneau (Mamaw), 84, of Allen passed away May 18, 2002 in McKinney. She was born April 4, 1918 in Durant, Okla. to George Evan and Lina Frances (Pace) Culpepper. On Sept. 7, 1940, she married Harold Eugene Reneau in Carrollton. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Fairview.
She is survived by her daughters Jean Blair and husband Bill of Flower Mound; Stella Timmons and husband Bob of Allen; Judy Hill and husband Bill of Grand Prairie; Gwen Holton and husband John of McKinney; Patty McLeod and husband Jeff of Levant, Maine and Cheri Skains and husband Larry of Allen; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Eugene Reneau (Dude); daughter Peggy; mother and father; four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at noon May 21 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. John Mark Caton officiating. Interment followed at Hilltop Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation with the family was held from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
