Edward was born on August 1, 1972 in Dallas to Epimenia Renteria-Daniel and Edward Renteria Sr. He graduated from RL Turner High School in Carrollton, TX in 1990 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas in Strategic Management, a Master of Business Administration degree in Project Management from the University of Dallas, and a Master of Arts degree in Dispute Resolution at Southern Methodist University. Edward's career started at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas in Richardson and was there for 25 years. At the time of his death, Edward was employed by Capital One in Plano as a Regulatory Compliance Leader. Education was very important to Edward and was always advancing his career opportunities.
Affectionately known as Eddie to his family, he is preceded in death by his father, Edward Tobe Renteria. He is survived by mother, Epimenia (John) Ramirez Renteria-Daniel, sister Linda (Steven) Renteria Ali, brother Ricardo (Rachel) Renteria, nephews Aaron Ali and Diego Renteria, niece Audrey Ali and many more aunts, uncles and cousins.
