OBITUARY

Funeral Services Set Friday for Carrollton Woman

Mrs. Mary L. Rhoton, 69, of Carrollton, who died Tuesday evening, will be buried at Restland Memorial Park Friday. Funeral services will be held at the Carrollton Christian Church at 10 a.m.
Mrs. Rhoton, whose husband J. T. Rhoton died a month ago, was born in Tennessee and came to Texas in 1896. With her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Robinson, she settled in Garland. In 1898 she was married and moved to Carrollton.
There she was a teacher in the Christian Church and a member of the Farmers Branch Chapter of Eastern Star.
She is survived by a son, H. D. Rhoton, Carrollton; a daughter, Mrs. Iris Van Cleve, Safford, Ariz; two sisters, Mrs. George D. Mercer, Fort Worth, and Mrs. M. L. Knight, Royce City; a brother, John Robinson, Dallas, a granddaughter and a grandson.
