OBITUARY
ROBERTS, ERMA J.
Died October, 5, 2007 at home in the company of her family and friends
in Carrollton, Texas. Erma was born November 14, 1929 in Hubbard, Texas
to George and Erma Etter. Emma is survived by her loving husband Leroy
Roberts; grandsons James Shelton and wife Tanya Shelton; great grandson
Greyson Shelton; brothers Charles Edward Etter and Livingston (Livy)
Barnes Etter; sisters, Anna Louise Etter Payne, Peggy Joe Montgomery,
and Molly Layne Etter Nichols. She is also survived by many nieces,
nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, and friends. She is preceded
in death by her parents, George Lodwick Etter and Erma Lee Woodlee;
children Kathryn Ann Shelton David Wayne Roberts and wife Lori Roberts;
grandchildren Jennifer (Jenny) Lynn Roberts and Melanie Roberts; brother
John Thomas Etter; and sisters Virginia Ruth Etter Christian and
Margueritette Etter Blalack. Erma was an active member of the Northside
Baptist Church, and she leaves behind many dear friends. Erma's sweet
spirit and kind heart will always be remembered by those who loved her.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October
7, from 6-8 p.m. funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 8, at
1 p.m. at the Northside Baptist Church in Carrollton. Interment will
follow at Hilltop Memorial
Park. In lieu, of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CFB
ISD Educational Foundation, c/o Roberts/Shelton Scholarship Fund. PO BOX
