OBITUARY
 

Kimberly Sue Rogers
April 3, 1958 - February 13, 2017

Kimberly Ballard Rogers, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017, also known as Kimmie Hypatia for her American Indian ability to navigate and tell time when on trail-rides with friends. She was born to Marland Ballard and Patricia Ballard Tanton on April 3, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was a graduate of R.L. Turner High School and a member of R.L. Turner drill team, she excelled in drama and was invited to try out for Six Flags over Texas Entertainment. She received an Associate’s degree as a dental assistant and worked in the dental industry until her retirement. Her love of animals defined her life. She was passionate about trail riding, rescuing many animals, and had a host of friends. An orphaned donkey named Boggy believe she was his mom. She rode with various trail rider associations.
She is preceded in death by her father, both paternal and maternal grandparents. She is survived by her husband Charlie Rogers of Iola, TX; mother Pati Tanton of Carrollton, TX; son Kalyn Doyle of Decatur, TX; daughter Kasey Doyle of Angleton, TX; brother Hugh (Chi) Ballard of Kennebunkport, ME; and seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 25, 2017, at McNutt Funeral, 1703 Porter, Conroe, TX, 77301. In lieu of flowers the family has request donations be made to her favorite charity Texas Gulf Coast Bull Terrier Rescue. www.texasgulfcoastbullterrier.org
