Birth Date: March 19, 1986 - Death Date: August 15, 2017

Jonathan Joseph Rosga, born March 19, 1986 in Dallas, Texas, died August 15,2017 in Carrollton, Texas, at the age of 31, the youngest of six children. He is survived by parents, Terry G. Rosga and Patricia A. Rosga of Carrollton, Texas, daughter Madison Rosga, age 11, of Santa Fe, Texas, and twin sons Maddox and Tristan Rosga, age 9, of Trophy Club, Texas and his five siblings: Brother Michael Weens and wife Melissa Martin and son Matthew of McKinney, Texas, Sister Kelly Rosga of Richardson, Texas, Brother Steven Weens and daughter Sydney of Frisco Texas, Brother Nicholas Rosga and wife Patricia Cuervo of Orlando, Florida, and Brother Chad Rosga of Piano, Texas. A kind hearted, generous and beautiful soul, shared with us for too short a time, Jonathan was a happy bubbly child with an easy smile for everyone. Jonathan excelled at every sport he tried, especially soccer, baseball, karate and football. He attended Country Place Elementary School, Ted Polk Middle School and Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, Texas, forming friendships that lasted over the years. Along with sports, he enjoyed traveling, cars, photography, computers, fashion, and playing online games with his relatives. Being the youngest in a family of 6 growing up was probably not easy, but Jon loved spending time with his brothers and sister. Vacations were always special times, traveling the country in our camper -especially trips to Grandma’s house in California, the family’s lake house In Minnesota or the relatives in Milwaukee, visiting a few sights along the way, like the Pacific Ocean, Grand Canyon and Mt. Rushmore to name but a few. His greatest joy came from his children, daughter Madison and twin sons Maddox and Tristan. His most memorable days were those that he spent with them. This last spring break.they went to Hill Country and the year before to Orlando where they met up with brother Nick and spent fun-filled hours exploring the parks. Jon enjoyed a successful career with Energy Transfer Partners where he worked for 10 plus years as a plant operator. He was promoted to lead operator due to his ability and expertise and earned the admiration, respect and friendship of his co-workers as well. His family and friends will miss him dearly. It is such a loss for all of us, but we are grateful for the 31 years that God allowed him to be a part of our lives.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 25, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.

Service to celebrate Jonathan’s life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 12:30 PM in The Wildwood Chapel Restland Memorial Park.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243
