Oma Lee Rowe

Oma Lee Rowe, age 96, was received into the arms of Jesus on Monday, May 21, 2018 after a short illness. Oma Lee was born on April 15, 1922 to Harry & Mittie Pearson and was raised in the Frisco area before making Irving her home for over 70 years. She was married to Manson Price until his death in 1950, then was married to Arthur Rowe for over 60 years, until his death in 2013. Oma Lee was mother to five, a teacher for over 40 years, and a member at First Baptist Church in Irving for over 65 years. Her hobbies included oil painting, ceramics, and shopping. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Oma Louise Price; son Lester Rowe; and son Robert Price. Left to cherish her memory are son Harry Don Rowe; daughter Sharon Hewitt and husband Ronnie; daughter-in-law Peggy Price, daughter-in-law Yong Cha Rowe, and niece Sandra Barousse. Grandchildren include Rayanne Trimble and husband Keith, Susan Rubac and husband Russell, Beverly Rowe, Brad Rowe, Jason Hewitt and wife Michele, Jeff Hewitt, Joy Martinez and husband Omar, and Andrew Rowe. Family includes 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Friends we consider family include Patsy Crisp and John & Laquetta Willis. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26th at 10 AM in the chapel at First Baptist in Irving, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her name to First Baptist Church Children's Ministry.
