OBITUARY

Mrs. C. G. Russell died at the family home near Alpha, east of Farmers Branch, Wednesday, July 30, about 6:25 p.m. Funeral services were held at Addison in the Baptist church Thursday afternoon. Rev. Simmons of Nevada and Rev. Nix of Carrollton conducting the services. Interment was made in the Frankfort Cemetery.
Mrs. Russell was born in Alabama in 1867 and was 63 years of age at the time of her death. Her maiden name was Hetta Moody, and forty three years ago on August 6th she became the wife of Mr. Charles G. Russell. They came to Texas many years ago and resided for twenty years in the district between here and Plano. Twelve children were born to them and of these eight are yet living. they are: Marvin M. Russell and Mrs. Pearl Hartline of near Renner; Mrs. Willie Mickie of Plano; Roy Russell of Carrollton; Mrs. Cora Combs of Paducah; Mrs. Jessie Clark of Addison; Mrs. Vera Roark of Dallas; Miss Madge Mae Russell at home and one stepson, R. L. Russell of Paducah. These with the husband are left to mourn the loss of a wife and mother
