OBITUARY

Services Held for Wm. K. Russell

William Kinnaird Russell, 58, of 2115 Denton Drive, Carrollton, a former vice-president of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch School Board died Saturday.

A graduate of Marietta College in Ohio, Mr. Russell was a member of the trust department of the Guaranty Trust Co. in New York before moving to Dallas County in 1945.

He worked in the sales department of Proctor & Gamble from 1945 until 1954 when he moved to Carrollton to manage several personal investments.

Mr. Russell served for six years on the Carrollton-Farmers Branch School Board retiring in 1965, and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Carrollton; also was a director of Dallas County State Bank.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Restland's Rev. Gordon Cassad officiating. Burial followed in Restland Memorial Park.

Survivors are his wife, and a sister, Mrs. Robert F. Sears, Bryn Mawr. Pa.

Pallbearers were James Piper, John Piper, Ben Thieme, Himme Thieme, Jimmie Fred Piper and Kenny More.
