OBITUARY

Mrs. Annie Ryan Passes Away At Parkview

Mrs. Annie Floyd Ryan, 83, passed away Saturday at 5:03 p.m. in The Park View where she had been a resident for four years. She was born in Farmers Branch, December 25, 1879, and had formerly lived with her daughter, Mrs. John D. Lindley on the VA Hospital Station for two years.
Mrs. Ryan, a member of the First Baptist Church, Dallas, had been active in the WMU and other church circles before moving to McKinney. She was married in 1897 to the late Rev. William Emmett Ryan, Baptist minister who at one time was Dallas County Baptist Missionary.  He passed away in November 1938.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Lindley, Mrs. Ryan is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J. R. Williamson and Miss Willie M. Floyd, both of Abilene; five grandchildren and six great-grandchldren.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Sparkman-Brand Funeral Home, conducted by Dr. W. A. Criswell, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Dallas, with interment in Cox Cemetery there.
Pallbearers: Jack and Bill Ryan, George Williams, Bob West, David Hurst, and Dr. Robert Winn.
