OBITUARY

RUBY M. Savage & Willie L. Savage

HALTOM CITY - Willie L. Savage, 87, and his wife of 55 years, Ruby M. Savage, 86, died within hours of each other Saturday evening and early Sunday morning.

Funeral: Joint service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: Noon to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials: Richland Hills Church of Christ.

Mrs. Savage, a homemaker, died Saturday night at a hospital in North Richland Hills. She was a member of Richland Hills Church of Christ, a graduate of Carrollton High School and North Texas Agricultural College. She formerly taught school in Johnson Station.

Mr. Savage, a retired self-employed automobile mechanic, died Sunday morning at a care center in Fort Worth. He was a member of Richland Hills Church of Christ. He was a resident of the Birdville/Haltom City area for 60 years.

Mrs. Savage is survived by: Nephew, Jim Thompson of Denver, Colo.; two great-nephews; one great-niece; and several cousins.

Mr. Savage is survived by: Nephew, Glenn Godfrey of Haltom City; and two great-nieces.
