Roland Schurrer

Roland Schurrer was born January 20, 1969, in Dallas, Texas to Wolfgang Schurrer and Christiane Schurrer, passed away on July 8, 2009. Roland graduated from Newman Smith High School in Carrollton in 1988. He was the founder of Quality Powder Coating at the age of 24 based in Carrollton and Phoenix. He made his company a close family business and was dedicated to his employees. Roland also enjoyed working on his 55' Chevy and traveling abroad. He loved life and lived life each day to the fullest; he will be truly missed. Preceded in death by his father, Wolfgang Schurrer in 1983. Survived by his mother, Christiane Schurrer; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Kevin Pike; niece, Alyssa Pike; aunt, Renate Blatt and numerous loving family members in Germany. A Memorial Service will be held Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel, on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the S.P.C.A. in memory of Roland.
