OBITUARY

Robert Sutton Scoggins
June 9, 1943 - July 1, 2022

Rob attended grade school and pre high school within the Dallas area. He graduated from Carrollton High School where he received state and national honors while playing basketball. Attending the University of North Texas, he played basketball in the Missouri Valley Converence while earning a BBA degree. During his college career he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity, Inter Fraternal Council and President of the UNT Business & Finance Club. He served 8 years in the U. S. Army Reserves and was active in the Fellowship Christian Athletics.

After graduation from the University of North Texas, Rob started his career in retail marketing and distribution. He has held senior positions with three Fortune 500 companies.

Rob is an endowed member of Sam P. Cochran Lodge #1335. He is also a Scottish Rite Mason and member of the York Rite along with membership in the Royal Order of Scotland. His activities at Hella Temple include unit membershipin the Motor Patrol (Colonel 2002), Directors Staff and the Arab Patrol. He also served as Hospital Charman for the past five years while serving on the membership committee druing 2002, was Potentate of Hella Shrine in 2007. Rob is a Member of the Royal Order Jesters-Court 25 and in the order of Quetzalcoatl, "Q"/ Teocalli #33.

He has been married to his Lady Linda for 47 years.
