OBITUARY

Patsy Olene Seabolt
January 27, 1941 - December 27, 2021

Patsy Olene Seabolt was a caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and faithful servant of God. She left this world peacefully on December 27, 2021, at age 80, to be reunited with her loving husband, Kenneth Seabolt.

Patsy was born to James and Opal Hunter on January 27, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas. She married Kenneth, her high school sweetheart, after graduating from Carrollton High School in 1959. A year later, they moved into their new house in Lewisville, Texas, which was Patsy’s home for the next 61 years. Patsy and Kenneth had two children: Shane and Amy.

Patsy loved spending her time exhibiting her creative side through writing, drawing and music, even copyrighting some of her poetry, writing original hymns to be sung at her church and creating stories for her grandchildren. Patsy also was a faithful servant of God, always spreading his Word and staying active at her church, even helping to create a service ministry called Hand 2 Hand, which provides meals and care for those in need. Adored by her grandchildren, Patsy loved to spend time cooking, drawing, playing games and watching movies with them any chance she could.

Patsy is survived by her son Shane Seabolt and Shane’s wife Lisa, her daughter Amy Hudnall and Amy’s husband Tommy, her grandchildren Reagan Hudnall, McKenna Seabolt and Thomas Hudnall, and numerous nieces and nephews, including Pam Seabolt, who took care of Patsy in her later years. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her “Bubba,” JE Odle.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10 am on December 31, 2021 at Northview Baptist Church, 2021 North Mill St in Lewisville, with a visitation immediately preceding at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Patsy’s memory to the Northview Baptist Church food pantry through their Heart of the City – Lewisville ministry.
