OBITUARY

Sedlick, Leona Grace
September 23, 1923 - November 4, 2014

Sedlick, Leona Grace
Heaven has gained an angel. On November 4, 2014 Leona Grace Sedlick passed away to a better place. A place where she can dance the polka with no pain, play music with her father, and laugh with her 2 sisters and 3 brothers gone before her. And, of course, her mom will be there trying to keep her and her father on the straight and narrow. But all of us who know her know that will never work!

Leona was 91 years of age. She was the oldest of 8 children and a woman of strong Catholic faith. The lady loved her religion, her family and those Dallas Cowboys. She never gave up on them. She worked hard all of her life and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Leona lost her husband, Joseph Sedlick, in 1958 and never remarried. She said you can only find perfection once! Leona and Joe are survived by 3 children: Joe Sedlick, Marsha (husband Don Murray) and Bill Sedlick (wife Jan). She now watches over her 9 grandchildren, 15 great grand children and one great-great grandchild. She leaves behind two sisters, Connie (husband Don Fortier) and Dolly Sanger, as well as 3 sister-in-laws; Mary Kay Jurek, Marilyn Jurek, and Leona Jurek; 1 brother-in-law; Bernard Guiette; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Please join us in the celebration of her life on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Mary Immaculate Church: 2800 Valwood, Dallas, TX. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., the Rosary at 10:30 a.m., and a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will follow at the Church. Interment will be at a later date at the Mary Immaculate Columbarium.

This lady is loved by so many and will be greatly missed!
