OBITUARY
 
 J.T. Sewell

PILOT POINT - J.T. Sewell, a retired Rath Meat Packing Co. supervisor, died Wednesday at a Denton hospital. He was 73.
Funeral: 10 a.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church in Aubrey, where he was a member. Burial Perry Cemetery in Carrollton. Arrangements; Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point. Mr. Sewell was born in Grapevine and was a 30-year member of Highland Baptist Church of Carrollton.  He was a World War II veteran and had received a Purple Heart.
Survivors: Wife Billie Jo Sewell of Pilot Point; son, Gary "Butch" Sewell of Longview; daughter, Rita Cobbs of Carrollton; four brothers, Monroe Sewell of Troop, Edward Jernigan of Famrersville, Loyd Jernigan of Krum and Robertr Jernigan of Hebron; three sisters, Dorothy Long of Ardmore, Okla. Nancy Baker of Bonham and Mildred Glidwell of Coppell; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
