Billy Jack Shafer
May 8, 1928 - August 5, 2016
Billy was born on May 8, 1928 in Dallas, TX to parents Charles and
Oma (Denson) Shafer and entered into eternal rest on August 5, 2016 at
the age of 88. Billy loved being outdoors; fishing, hunting, football
and baseball. He owned and operated NAPA Carrollton Motor Supply and
worked at Friendly Chevrolet for many years. Billy was the Kemp School
Crossing Guard for several years. He was a Master Mason in Carrollton.
Billy was a member of Baker United Methodist Church. He was a very
loving and kind man who will be missed tremendously by all those who
knew and loved him. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, wife
Aleta Shafer, son
Billy
Shafer in 2008, 5 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his son Bobby
Shafer of Kemp, grandson Billy Jack Shafer Jr. of Carrollton, sister
Margie Lambert of Carrollton, brother James Shafer of Malakoff, numerous
nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many more friends. In
