JACK SHAFER -
Jack Shafer, a four-year student of CHS, plans to work after graduation. His greatest ambition is to own a 1950 Ford convertible. Jack's favorite color is blue polka dots and his favorite band leader is Artie Shaw. Favorite actor is Alan Ladd and he loves to hear Judy Caneva sing. Jack says his pet peee is "Stuffy People."
Clubs that Jack has been a member of are FFA and PE.

OBITUARY
 

In Memory of
Billy Jack Shafer
May 8, 1928 - August 5, 2016

Billy was born on May 8, 1928 in Dallas, TX to parents Charles and Oma (Denson) Shafer and entered into eternal rest on August 5, 2016 at the age of 88. Billy loved being outdoors; fishing, hunting, football and baseball. He owned and operated NAPA Carrollton Motor Supply and worked at Friendly Chevrolet for many years. Billy was the Kemp School Crossing Guard for several years. He was a Master Mason in Carrollton. Billy was a member of Baker United Methodist Church. He was a very loving and kind man who will be missed tremendously by all those who knew and loved him. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, wife Aleta Shafer, son Billy Shafer in 2008, 5 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his son Bobby Shafer of Kemp, grandson Billy Jack Shafer Jr. of Carrollton, sister Margie Lambert of Carrollton, brother James Shafer of Malakoff, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many more friends. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in honor of Billy to Alzheimer’s Association at www.alzfdn.org.
