Our beloved Jared went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 4,
2021.
Jared Matthew Sherman was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and
follower of Jesus.
Jared was born on January 28, 1981 in Santa Rosa, California. The first
and only son of Larry Lee and Deborah Ann (Bell) Sherman. He was raised
in Carrollton, Texas and graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in
Addison, Texas in 1999. Jared graduated from University of North Texas
with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, then progressed through his
Master’s degree in Computer Engineering. Jared was a trusted colleague,
a reliable source of knowledge and an outstanding friend and engineer at
Raytheon Technologies for almost 8 years, where he will be greatly
missed.
Jared was a devoted husband and father. He was always immensely proud of
his children and loved to brag about them every chance he got. Jared was
extremely in love and still completely smitten with his wife of 17
years. He also loved his extended family and friends. While working,
Jared was dedicated to serving his church. He served in the music,
worship and sound department using his advanced computer, musical and
technical skills.
Jared was brilliant in all things, always wanting to learn more, create
more and love more. He had a passion for sports and he loved all things
Rangers, Cowboys, Mavericks and Stars. He had a knack for statistics,
and could always remembers every batting average, percentage and player
scores.
Jared is survived by his wife, Rebecca Faye and his children Nolan
Larry, age 6, and Annaleigh Kate, age 3. Also survived by his mother
Deborah Sherman of Frisco and his two sisters, Jenny Rebekah Sherman
Richards of Tyler, TX and Wendy Elizabeth Sherman Singleton of The
Colony, TX. He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Dr. Larry Lee
Sherman. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,
cousins and loved by so many.
Memorial service will be held on April 10, 2021 at 4:00 in the afternoon
at Compass Christian Church in Roanoke, Texas. |
