OBITUARY

JIMMY GLEN SHIPP
Born Sept. 4, 1947 in Greenville, TX. Passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 25, 2007 from a massive heart attack. Graduated from R. L. Turner High School in 1964. Lived in Colorado for 13 years. Owned several businesses before joining Just Brakes where he spent a ten-year career. Jim's greatest joy was his family & friends. He loved nothing more than being with them and keeping them laughing. He also loved his crossword puzzles and spent many hours enjoying them with his mother. Survived by his devoted mother, Carol Bain; son, Monte Shipp and wife Krystal; daughter, Michelle Gates and husband Sean and 7 grandchildren. Also, survived by his "daddy" Bobby Bell and wife, Ruby; brothers, Ricky Bell and wife, Barbara, Randy Bell and wife, Rachel, Danny Bell and wife, Debbie and Kyle Bain; sisters Kym Webster and husband, Tracy, Kelly Ott and husband, Richard; 3 special aunts, Joann Sprinkle, Betty Tingle and Mary Mach; many uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jim is preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Joe Shipp; his "dad", Bob Bain; his special grandmother, Maude Graves, whom he called "Momma"; nephew, Clayton Bell and aunt Maudine Doyle. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Services will be at 1pm Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Hilltop Mausoleum.
