NEWS ARTICLE HELEN HALL
Helen Hall is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arch L. Hall who live in Dallas.
She plans to work in an insurance office next year.
The high school course that Helen has enjoyed most while in school was home
making and economics. Mr. M. S. Roach is the high school teacher that she
considers has done more for her this year than any other. Robert Taylor and
George Sanders are her favorite movie stars.
Basket ball is the sport that Helen liked to play and football is the sport that
she liked best to watch. Cooperation is the thing that Helen has liked about the
spirit of Carrollton High this year.
Dorotha Bess Henderson, Anita Shaddox and Virginia Milner are Helen's best adult
friends.
Helen wants to live her adult life in Dallas.

OBITUARY
Helen H. Silk, age 89, of Lewisville, passed away Monday, April
8, 2013. She was born July 27, 1923 in Weatherford, Texas to Arch L.
Hall and Vera Proffitt Hall. Helen married John B. Silk on July 18, 1941
in Denton. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2010. She and John
owned and operated the John Silk Feed Store in Dallas for many years.
Helen was a member of Pilot Point Methodist Church and a member of Order
of Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter, three grandchildren
and three great grandchildren. |
