Charles (Chuck) Boyd Sims Jr, age 58, died on Saturday, May 6. He was born in Dallas, Texas December 31, 1958 to Doris Lee Tedder Sims and Charles Boyd Sims, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carroll Sims, their 3 sons: Jeremy Sims, wife Jayme Sims, children Emma, Miranda, and Jonathan; Ryan Christopher Sims and wife Kayla Sims; and Bradley Hunter Sims: his sisters Sharon Suits and husband, Robert Suits, Karen Sasser, and Charlotte Sims and husband Stanley Sims: his brother, Stephen Sims and wife Pamela Sims: his aunt Donna Tedder McGrath; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Chuck worked at Halliburton in Carrollton, Texas for almost 39 years. His memorial service will be held on Saturday May 13, 11:00AM, at First Christian Church, 880 W Fox Avenue, Lewisville, Texas 75067 where Chuck and Carroll have been active members for 27 years. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or First Christian Church Lewisville.
