Miss Erma Eula Sincler was born in Avalon, Texas on June 27, 1897, the daughter of John William Sincler and Jessie Elizabeth (Hendricks) Sincler.  She was a retired teacher having taught algebra at the Carrollton High School.  She lived at 1817 Tartan street in Carrollton.  Miss Sincler died at the age of 69 at the Brookhaven General Hospital in Farmers Branch of Congestive Heart Failure on October 16, 1966. She was laid to rest at the Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.

L. Roscoe Sincler, 98, of Tyler Texas, formerly of 41 Sylvan Lane, died Wednesday evening, Feb 13th of 2002 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Tx.
Services will be held at 11 am Wed. at Elias Funeral Home. The Rev Jamie Swanson will officiate.
Burial well be in Riverview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be William Scarratt, John Grosbeck, Bruce Hart, Dave Snyder ,Jack Voorhees and Alvin Blasco. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Raymond Coveny, Richard Berry, John Howe and Sean Swain.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Wed. at the funeral home.
Born Sept 15, 1903 in Ellis Co. Texas, he was the son of J.W. and Jessie E. (Hendirks) Sincler. He married Ileta Ann Graves on Feb 15th of 1928 and she died Sept 4 of 1998.
He is survived by a daughter Judy (Walter)Wilmeth of Tyler, Tx. 5 grandchildren, Walter Roy Wilmeth of Athens, Tx. Anna Wilmeth of Tyler, Tx. Earl Sincler Wilmeth of Chandler, Tx. Debra (Mrs Matt) Costello fo Kingwood, Texas and Kevin Dean of Streator, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Joan Sincler Dean of Streator, Illinois, a brother W.A. Sincler of Marshall Texas and a sister Erma Sincler of Carrolton Texas.
Mr Sincler was the owner and operator of the Streator Coca-Cola Bottling Co. from 1953-1983. Prior to moving to Streator, he owned and operated Galesburg, Ill Coca- Cola from 1946-1953. He wa a member of the board of direcrtors of the Union Bank of Streator, from 1965-1985.
He was a member of the Park Presbyterian Church in Streator, a member of the Streator Country Club, was a Master Mason, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner of Hella Temple in Alexander Sanger Shrine Class, Fall of 1925, Dallas Texas.
He was a 1922 graduate of Draughans Business college Dallas Texas.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, Riverview Cemetery, or the American Cancer Society.
