L. H. SKELTON SHOT BURIED AT CARROLLTON

The body of L. H. (Hard) Skelton was shipped to Carrollton from near Jacksonville for burial Friday.

The trouble appears to have started when Mr. Skelton got a search warrant to recover some stolen harness from the man who later killed him. The Chronicle will have more details next week. In the meantime the entire community is sympathizing with Mrs. Claude Baxley, Sister, and other relatives of the deceased.
