OBITUARY

SKIPWORTH
Robert "Skip" Skipworth, who was born December 20, 1925, passed away August 15, 2005 at the age of 79 after a long illness.
He is survived by wife, Johnnie, for 63-1/2 beautiful years; one daughter, Bobbie Ann and husband, Don Oullette; four grandsons; Robert "Robby" Penny and Christine; Johnie "Tommy" Penny and wife, Cindy; Shane Starnes and wife, Leann Shawn Starnes-deceased; five great-grandchildren: Jeffifer Penny, Dwayne Penny, Tyler Starnes, Shalee Starnes, and Kylee Starnes. Robert is also survived by three brothers; Weldon, Jack and Larry Skipworth.
Funeral services have already been held at the Phillips Funeral Chapel of Carrollton, Texas and were conducted by Jones "Yank" Walker and son of Commerce, Texas. Pallbearers were: Harold Dennis, James Noel, Dudley St. Clair, Ken Dafft, Buddy Cline, and Gary Cline. Interment was held at Hilltop Memorial Escorded by Carrollton Fire Department.
Skipworth was a 40 year retired volunteer fireman. He was a retired welding business owner of Carrollton for 50 years. He served in World War II in the Army and was a resident of Carrollton for 65 years.
