OBITUARY
 
Weldon “Skip” Ralph Skipworth was born on June 13, 1934 in Whitewright, Texas to Willie Ralph and Florence Jenkins. He passed away suddenly on November 14, 2020.
Weldon is preceded in death by his wife, Jan; son, Floyd; 2 son-in-laws; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; and his mother and father.
He is survived by 3 daughters, La’Nelle Beaver and Gail Graham of Mesquite, Texas and Roxanne Weber (Thomas) of Glenpool, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Graham of Mesquite, Texas, Joseph Graham (Tabitha) of Canton, Texas, Shaun Graham (Anna) of Mesquite, Texas, and Craig Kennedy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 8 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Joseph and William of Canton, Texas, James Campbell III of Toledo, Ohio, Evan Danvers, Charles and Willow Graham all of Mesquite, Texas, and Chayton McCrary-Kennedy of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, a few close friends, and all others have left the building.
He will be remembered for his love of his genealogy, spending time with his grandkids and great-grandchildren. He loved dancing with his friends at Evans and Bluegrass nights at Peggy’s. Most of all he loved all the places his granddaughter took him to, including the Irish Festivals which he was able to attend this past March.
