OBITUARY

SLOVAK, LIBBY, born October 7, 1912 in Ennis, Texas to Louis and Anna Jurcik, passed away quietly in the Heritage Garden Nursing Home on September 11, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Slovak; son, Louise Slovak; daughter, Margie George; 9 brothers and sisters, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter. She is survived in death by her daughters, Geraldine Shotswell, Elline O' Brien' son, Stanley Slovak, Jr.; 14 grandchildren; numerous great and great, great grandchildren; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She was a member at Mary Immaculate Church in Farmers Branch and active with the Senior Citizens and Czech Women's Organization. She loved traveling and playing Bingo. She was a great seamstress and gardener but her passion was baking Czech pastries and bread and sharing them with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 14032 Dennis Lane, Farmers Branch. Interment Restland Memorial Park.
