Dorothy Elizabeth Smith

Dorothy Elizabeth Smith was born December 15, 1925 in Dallas, Texas to Lewis and Lena Leslie. She passed away on February 5, 2015.

She is preceded in death by many loved ones including her husband – Edward Smith and her daughter Judy Carter.

She is survived by her sons: Mike Ellis and his wife Trena. Gerald Ellis and his wife Pat. She leaves behind numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy graduated from Carrollton High School and worked with her sister at Trinity Ceramics for about 15 years before she joined her husband Edward in operating the family grocery store business. Her greatest love was her family, Nanaw’s house was always full of kids and family members.
