Dallas Pioneer Dead
CARROLLTON. Dallas Co., Texas, Dec. 4. - Mrs. Nancy Jane Smith, aged 79. died at her home in Farmers Branch. Burial was at Webb Chapel. Active pallbearers were Maynard Ford, Bill Ford, Jim Ogden, H. D. Ogden, Othole Ogden, Russell Newton.

OBITUARY

Nancy Jane Smith
Mrs. Nancy Jane Smith, who resided at Farmers Branch, died at her home there early Wednesday morning, aged 79 years, 2 months, and 28 days.  She was born in Mississippi Sept 5, 1851 and came to Texas many years ago.
She was the mother of Mrs. Neil (J.T.) Ogden of Carrollton, Mrs. Oscar Newton of Ft. Worth, W. I. Smith of Dallas and James Smith of Farmers Branch, all of whom survive her Mrs. R. O. Connell of this place is a granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in Farmers Branch in the Baptist church, the Rev's Birkner, Wynn, and G. W. Good officiating and interment being in Webb Chapel cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons: Mynard ford, Jim Ogden, Otho Ogden, Russell Newton, Bill Ford, and R. O. Connell
