New Postmaster at Farmers Branch.

Washington. Feb. 25. - Thomas J. Smith has been named postmaster of Farmers B ranch, Dallas County, in place of M. L. Asbury.

Smith - T. J. Smith, 53 years old, died of pneumonia at his home at Farmers Branch yesterday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at the residence at <?> o'clock this afternoon. The burial will be in the Farmers Branch Cemetery. Mr. Smith was a member of the firm of Smith & Melvin. He w as president of the Farmers Branch School Board and a member of the Odd Fellows fraternity. He is survived by his wife and a number of relatives.
