OBITUARY
Edmond Snider Jr.
SNIDER, EDMOND "ED" GEORGE Jr. Survived by his loving wife Denise of 33 years,
his daughter Laurie, 28, and sons Zachary, 26, and Joshua, 21, his mother
Dorothy, sisters Sharon Hurwitz and Patricia Hubertus, and brothers Robert
Andrew, David and Richard Snider. Ed was endlessly devoted to his family and
actively encouraged his children with their education, ambitions, and successes.
Ed was the Vice-President of Safety, Training, Warranty and Quality Control for
Beazer Homes. He developed Beazer University as a training facility for the
company. Ed also coached soccer for 35 years, including three years at Texas
State University in San Marcos, TX. A vigil service will be held at 6:00 P.M.
Sunday, October 17, 2004 in the chapel of Sparkman/Dickey Funeral Home. Funeral
Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. Monday at St. Pius X Catholic Church 3030
Gus Thomasson Dallas, TX. Rev. Msgr. Larry Pichard, presider. Ed will forever be
remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend. If desired, memorials may be

Snider, Dorothy Warner Beloved mother, of Mesquite, TX, born 11/10/1929, passed
away 11/20/2008. Preceded in death by husband, Edmond G. Snider, Sr.; son,
Edmond G. Snider, Jr. & brother, Robert Warner. Survived by sons, Robert Snider,
David Snider, Richard Snider, Robert Hurwitz & Patrick Hubertus; daughters,
Patricia Hubertus, Sharon Hurwitz, Debbie Snider, Tracy Snider & Denise Snider;
sisters, AnnaMarie Fowler & Linda McLarty; 12 grandchildren & 3
great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Parish for 40
years. Recitation of the Holy Rosary, 6:00 p.m., Sunday, 11/23/2008, Eastgate
Funeral Home, Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, 11/24/2008, 11:00 a.m., St. Pius
X Catholic Church, Dallas, Texas. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
