OBITUARY

Mrs. Carolyn Soules

TROUP - Services for Mrs. Carolyn Soules, 44, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church in Troup, with the Revs. Wayne Day, and J. Mack Endsley officiating.
Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery in Troup under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home in Troup.
Mrs. Soules died Wednesday in a Tyler hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was burn March 14, 1942, in Sunset and was a Troup area resident 12 years. She was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University with bachelor and master degrees. She taught English at Carlisle Middle School and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Troup.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny E. Soules, Troup; two sons, Mark Soules, San Antonio, and and John Soules, Troup; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. A. B. Moore, Collinsville; and three brothers, Gene Gilstrap, Pilot Point, Mickey Gilstrap, Collinsville, and Charles Gilstrap, Little Elm.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Cannon, Bill Mowery, Hugh Soules, Howard Patterson, Don Moon, Joe Paul McElroy, Mike Gilstrap and Audie Gilstrap.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Slaughter, Jim Carlyle, Lynn Brock, Shila Leventhall, Carlisle School faculty and friends at Thomas K. Gorman High School, Wednesday night aerobics class and Searchers Sunday School Class of United Methodist Church in Troup.
