OBITUARY

Craig Wilson Spitzberg (1951 - 2014)
SPITZBERG, Craig Wilson Of Farmers Branch, Texas, passed away on November 14, 2014 in Dallas. He died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 63. Born on April 16, 1951, to Marjorie (Wilson, from Monticello, MS) Spitzberg and Howard Spitzberg (from Little Rock, AR), as the first of three sons, Craig graduated from R. L. Turner High School, and completed several years of college. He lived his entire life in his beloved city of Dallas. Always restless, venturesome and a dreamer, he worked a variety of jobs in sales and tech industries. He was naturally gregarious, and blessed with an encyclopedic memory and an insatiable curiosity. His love of music, classic movies, wild stories (often about his own escapades) and a good joke were hallmarks, as was his extraordinary gift as a cook and gourmand. Craig was always game for exploring both the old and new venues of Dallas, and for travel, which took him to Europe, Japan, and throughout the U.S. He is survived by his brothers Blair and Brian Spitzberg, and their wives. His presence and charisma will be deeply missed, but will be well-remembered by all who knew him.
