OBITUARY
 
Michael Spradlin
October 11, 1963 - December 17, 2010

Michael Wayne Spradlin, age 47 of Waco, passed away, Thursday December 16, 2010, at his residence. Celebration of life services will be at 1 pm, Wednesday December 22, 2010 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday December 21, 2010 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.

Michael was born October 11, 1963 in Alpine Texas to Dorothy Spradlin. Michael graduated from Newman Smith High School in 1982. He served in the US Army from 1983 to 1987 as artillery fire-finder radar operator. He was attached to a Marine Division while serving in Beirut Lebanon. Michael had just left the Marine Barracks before the bombing in 1983. After his honorable discharge he went to work at Omni hearing systems for seventeen years. In 2004 he opened Central Texas Hearing and Repair Center in Waco. He married Debbie Baxter on June 20, 2003. He was an endowed member of the Crawford, Meridian and Valley Mills Masonic Lodges. He was also a member of the Widows Sons. He was a member of the Karem Shrine participating in the Motor Escorts and Jesters. He attended Top Hand Cowboy Church.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Debbie; three daughters Michelle, Allison and Nichole; a son, Chase; a brother David and his wife Susan; a sister Cindy and his precious granddaughter Bailee; four nephews Michael, Adam, Zach and A J and a brother-in-law Bruce and wife Patti. Father-in-law Don and wife Patti and many friends.
