STEELE, HAROLD E.
Passed away September 14, 2005 in Farmers Branch, TX. He was born on February 26, 1928 in Wapanucka, OK to Willie Mae & Sidney Albert Johnson Steele. Harold enjoyed a 35 year long career in elementary education with the Carrollton/Farmers Branch Independent School District. Although he began and ended his career at R. E. Good Elementary, Harold invested 18 years as principal at Janie Stark Elementary. He was a member of the Lion's Club and a regular at the Carrollton Senior Center, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carrollton for over 40 years. Harold is preceded in death by his parents and son Noble Steele. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Patricia Steele; his daughters Theresa Steele and Eugenia Steele; grandchildren Anthony Barajas & wife Brandy, Amanda Stevens & husband Brian, and Arik Barajas; great-grandchildren Tatum, Mason, & Isaiah Barajas and Bailey Stevens; and siblings Edward Steele, Sam Steele, Oleta Callahan, and Midge Ray. A visitation will be from 7-9 PM Friday, September 16, 2005 in Rhoton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11AM Saturday, September 17, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church of Carrollton, TX. Interment will follow in Hilltop Memorial  Park in Carrollton, TX.
