Robert L. Sterling

Robert L. Sterling, beloved husband, father, and Paw-Paw went to be with his Savior July 3, 2002 following a lengthy illness. He was born April 18, 1927 near Hawley, TX. He was a member of First Baptist Church Carrollton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Matha (Boast) Sterling; children, Kay Walker, Robert M. Sterling, Lisa Betancourt, Laura Binns, Roger Sterling, Kerry Gladden, Kevin Gladden and their spouses; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Linda Rhodes and Betty Reeves; brothers, Roy Sterling and Mack Sterling.

Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home, Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX on Friday, July 5, from 7-9 p.m. Service will be held at First Baptist Church Carrollton, 2400 N. Josey Ln., Carrollton, TX on Saturday, July 6 at 2 p.m. Interment is to follow at Hilltop Memorial Park, Carrollton, TX.
