OBITUARY
 
Helen J. Stone was born October 1, 1932 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2007 from complications of Alzheimer's at 74 years old.
Viewing will be Tuesday May 8, 2007 at Metrocrest Funeral Home. Service will be Wednesday May 9, 2007 at First Baptist Church Carrollton. Rev. Brent Taylor will officiate at the service. Interment will be at Hilltop Memorial Park.
She was married to Charles J. Stone on February 17, 1951 in Booneville, Arkansas.
She was an active member of First Baptist Church Carrollton since 1975. She sang in the choir and worked for many years in the media center with her husband Charles.
She is remembered by family and friends as energetic and very loving. She loved to sing and often sang while cleaning or working. She loved playing with her grandchildren.
The family is very grateful that we were able to care for her at home. We are thankful to Grace Hospice for their help in caring for her at home during her last 5 months. Thank you to Charles, Juanita, and Sarah for caring for her so tenderly at home.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles of the home; 1 sister Carol Hankins of Centerville, Arkansas; 2 brothers Clifford Coursey of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Robert Coursey of Loomis, California; 2 children Juanita Stone of the home and Alan Stone of Dallas, 5 grandchildren Alan Stone Jr. of Corinth, Amy Williams of Aubrey, Richard Stone of Carrollton, Angela Williams of Plano, and Sarah Stone of the home; and 2 great-grandchildren Haley James of Aubrey and Allison Stone of Corinth.
