OBITUARY Eugennia A. "Dell" Strader
Eugennia Adell "Dell" Strader, 54, of Bolivar died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, in St.
John's Hospital, Springfield, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born March 8, 1952, in Tyler, Texas, the daughter of Eugene and Dorthie
Waters Williams. She graduated from R.L. Turner High School, Carrollton, Texas.
She met Jim Strader through a mutual friend and was united in marriage June 9,
1972, and to this union, two children were born, Jeffery Dale and Joani Adell.
The Lord saved her soul in August 1985, and she was baptized after joining
Calvary Missionary Baptist Church the following Sunday. She later moved her
membership to Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist where she was a faithful member
until her death.
Dell graduated May 19, 1987, from St. John's School of Nursing. Nurse Dell was
loved by her patients, co-workers and friends and will be sadly missed. Dell
also loved to ride her horses, whether she was showing or trail riding with
friends.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jim; one son, Jeff, of Carrollton,
Texas; one daughter, Joani Coble and her husband, Trent, of Dunnegan. Dell was
Nana to three grandchildren, Memphis, Eian and Karissa Coble.
Also surviving are her parents, Eugene and Dorthie Williams of Carrollton,
Texas; two sisters, Camy Strader and her husband, Donny, and Nancy Breshears and
her husband, Lindel; a niece, Megan Friddle and her husband, Rodney; three
nephews, Chad and Brandon Breshears and Kyle Strader, all of Carrollton, Texas;
her mother-in-law, Willa Strader of Bolivar; and a brother-in-law, Brent Strader
of Crandall, Texas.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, in Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist
Church with Brother Gary Campbell officiating. Music will be by the church
choir. Pallbearers will be Doyle Barham, Mike Carter, Randy Jones, David Schroll,
Larry Hofstetter and John Gifford. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill
Cemetery under the direction of Murray Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may
be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery or the Citizens Memorial Hospital's Central
Care Cancer Center.
