OBITUARY
 
Stromire Rites Held Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Lavena M. Stromire were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Taylor Funeral Chapel in Leonard with graveside services at Forest Chapel Cemetery at Chicota, Texas. Mrs. Stromire died Saturday afternoon in a vehicle accident southwest of Trenton on Highway 121.

She was born Dec. 3, 1952 at Paris and was employed as customer relations representative by ATT Wireless in Dallas since May 1989.

Mrs. Stromire was a 1971 graduate of R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton.

She was a member of the U.S. Air Force from 1979 to 1983 and received the rank of sergeant. She married Capt. William D. Stromire Nov. 24, 1982 of Bordon, Indiana while at Minot AFB, North Dakota.

Survivors are her husband of the home, a son, Craig J. Stromire, also of the home; parents, J. B. and Maxine Stillwell of Soper, Okla.; brother, Billy Joe Stillwell of Stoper; nephews, Shane McMahan and Bradley Stillwell; niece Heather Stillwell; a great-niece, Kilbe, and many aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by a sister, Vanessa Kay McMahan in 1982.
