1958 The Roar Carrollton High School Carrollton, Dallas Co., Texas Senior Class Photo   OBITUARY   Lloyd Eugene Taliaferro, 72, was born May 11, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to Frank and Edna Taliaferro. He died December 1, 2012 in Conroe, Texas. Lloyd proudly served his country in The United States Marine Corps. Lloyd coached football and track in San Antonio, Carrollton, Grand Prairie and Lake Dallas. While in Lake Dallas he served as the head coach and later as Athletic Director. Lloyd married Pat (Wood) Taliaferro on December 1, 1972. They have two daughters, Jill Bares and Stacey King. Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents and sister Connie January. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Pat of 40 years, daughters Jill & husband Raymond Bares, Stacey & husband Mike King, grandchildren Courtney Schmidt & Caden King, brother Landon & wife Joyce Taliaferro, brother-in-law Moe January, father-in-law J.I. Wood, sister-in-law & husband Charlotte & James McConnell, sister-in-law & husband Nancy Wood & Jim Dines and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Interment will be at Mayes Addition of Oakwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rita B. Huff Humane Society or Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
