OBITUARY

BENNETT LOREN TERRELL
BENNETT LOREN TERRELL Left this Earth for a better place on December 7, 2005 after a year long battle with lung cancer. He was born on October 11, 1928 in Grapevine, Texas to Marlin and Zula Terrell. He served our country very proudly in the U.S. Navy for two years. He worked for the MKT Railroad for over 40 years. He was a very active member of the First Christian Church in Carrollton, Texas. He was most proud of serving the Church as Elder Emeritus and of an award given in his name presented for special achievement. He wrote that his most memorable life experience was being married to his loving wife Dortha for over 52 years. He is survived by his wife Dortha; his son Michael; his daughter Linda and husband Larry Davis; his granddaughter Lauren Marie; and great-grandson Tristan. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2005 in Rhoton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2005 at the First Christian Church in Carrollton with a graveside service to follow at the Hilltop Memorial Park.
