Funeral services for James T. Thomas, 84, of Addison were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Addison Methodist Church. Revs. Jimmy Connatser, Michael Davis and Earl Harvey, Jr., officiated. Burial was in the Perry Cemetery, Carrollton.
Mr. Thomas died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. L. Hunt, in Garland
Born in Kentucky, he moved to Texas in his youth and spent most of his youth near Dallas and in the surrounding counties.
Survivor are two sons, O. L. Thomas of Dallas and J. R. Thomas of Fort Worth; two daughters, Mrs. Hunt of Garland; and Mrs. J. T. Renau of Addison, 18 grandchildren and 23, great-grandchildren, were held Wednesday. Interment was in Plano Cemetery.
