Sheryl Stutzman-Thompson ('84, '86
M.A.), Little Elm. She taught communications at the high school level after
earning her degrees from North Texas. She later earned her paralegal certificate
and worked for the IRS for several years until she decided to stay at home with
her children. She was active in the homeschooling community.Sheryl was
born Sept 26, 1962 and passed away on Oct 22, 2005 from complications due to
breast cancer. She was laid to rest at the Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 8520
West Main St., Frisco, Collin Co., Texas

OBITUARY
Sheryl
Linn Thompson, age 43 of Little Elm, Texas passed away October 22, 2005
in Carrollton, Texas. She was born September 26, 1962 in Chalotte, North
Carolina to Earl and Neta (McCullum) Stutzman. On August 20, 1989 she
married Chris Thompson in Lake Kiowa, Texas. Sheryl grew up in Farmers
Branch and graduated from R. L. Turner High School, graduated from North
Texas State University with a Bachelors in Communications and a Masters
in Intrapersonal Communications, was a home school mother, and active in
her church and community. Sheryl is survived by her husband, Chris
Thompson of Little Elm, Texas; children, Lauren, Cameron, Katherine and
Anna Thompson of Little Elm, Texas; mother, Neta Stutzman of Lake Kiowa,
Texas; sister, Susan and husband, Joe Box of Virginia Beach, Virginia
and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday,
October 24, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral
Home at 8520 Main Street in Frisco. Funeral Services will be held on
Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Frisco Bible Church, 8000 CR
710 in Frisco, Texas with Dr. Wayne Braudrick officiating. Interment
will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park. |
