JOHN WILLIAM TOWNSEND
TOWNSEND, JOHN WILLIAM, born Jan. 20, 1940 in Decatur, Texas. Went home to be with the Lord on Mar. 14, 2004. He was a Deacon and a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Beulah Townsend, and one son, Mitchell Townsend. He is survived by his wife, Jo Beth Townsend, Two daughters, Laurie Bloodworth, and Linda Townsend. He is also survived by a brother, David Townsend, sister, Marilyn Townsend, two grandchildren, one niece, four nephews, and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 16, 2004, at Metrocrest Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Mar. 17, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Carrollton, 2400 N. Josey Lane, Carrollton, Tx., Interment will follow at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton. Metrocrest 972-242-3646
