OBITUARY
 
Elizabeth Joan Tridle

Elizabeth Joan Tridle, age 72, passed away on Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, in Houston. Elizabeth was born Oct. 5, 1934, in Houlton, Maine, to Herbert and Grace Smith.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra Kromm and Denise Stenson; a son, Bruce Tridle and wife Kelly; three sisters, Laura Dalrymple, Jean Bathras and Rosa Burnell; a brother-in-law, Vernon Tridle and his wife Helen; three grandchildren, Ryan Stenson, Travis Tridle and Taylor Tridle; best friend, Betty Creel; and by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Tridle; a son, Brad Allen Tridle; her parents, Grace P. Smith and Herbert Smith; one sister, Anna Rogers; and two brothers, Larry and Herbert Smith.

Elizabeth was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren, family, friends, church and country and was a loyal, dedicated and loved employee of Arrow Industries in Carrollton for 20 years.

Elizabeth was frequent visitor of the Senior Center in Lewisville and a member of Lake Cities United Methodist Church in Lake Dallas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lake Cities Food Pantry, in care of Lake Cities United Methodist Church.

A visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Dalton and Son Funeral Home in Lewisville. Funeral services will be on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 10 a.m. at the Lake Cities United Methodist Church in Lake Dallas with burial to follow at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton.
