OBITUARY
Douglas
Turner of Rowlett, Texas passed away on February 26 at the age of 65. He
was born October 15, 1948 to Oscar and Lillian Turner. Doug is survived
by his wife, Karen, daughter Julie Sexton and husband Brandon, Janie
Berg and husband Aaron, Lacey Turner, and brother-in-law Jimmy Couch. He
is also survived by four grandchildren: Ethan and Lillian Berg and Jake
and Ryan Sexton. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 at Williams Funeral
Home in Garland on Friday, February 28. Funeral services will be held at
Williams on March 1 at 10:30. Doug was blessed to work for McKay Music
Co. which allowed him to enjoy his lifelong love of music. He also had
an extreme passion for the University of Texas and all guests are
encouraged to wear burnt orange to celebrate his life. Donations can be
made to the ARK Preschool at Arapaho Road Baptist Church in Garland or
the charity of your choice. |
